Deputy Information Governance Manager Information Governance IM&T ROYAL DEVON & EXETER HOSPITAL (WONFORD) Information Governance is a high priority for the Trust and an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Information Governance Team for a Deputy Information Governance Manager. The post holder will be responsible for assisting on Information Security within the Trust and supporting the Information Governance Manager in managing the Information Governance agenda across the Trust. The post holder will be responsible for providing advice on Information Security throughout the Trust and acting as Information Security Officer for the Trust. The post holder will be responsible for managing a responsive and customer focused Information Governance team to ensure legislative and organisational requirements are met. In the absence of the Information Governance Manager the post holder will act as deputy. This is an ideal opportunity for someone currently in an operational role, with experience and knowledge of Information Governance in particular Information Security, the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Data Protection Act 1998 and a good working knowledge of the Information Governance Toolkit. We are looking for someone who has good management skills, excellent communication skills and can work to achieve agreed objectives with freedom to do this in their own way, working within broad professional policies.
