The Transport Department based at Heavitree Hospital is looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team of HGV and Courier Drivers. We currently provide a high quality service to various NHS sites across the entire south west region on behalf of the Trust; candidates must be able to demonstrate HGV driving experience and good knowledge of the south west area as well as good basic Tachograph knowledge and a valid driver CPC The post holder’s responsibilities will include carrying out daily deliveries to a wide spread area covering the entire south west region as per Transport dept. schedules, sorting mail, maintaining security of all items conveyed, completion of non-scheduled deliveries as directed as well as carrying out daily vehicle checks & cleaning of vehicles as scheduled. Enhancements are paid for unsocial hours/Public holidays, 27 days paid leave per annum upon start, progressing to 33 days paid leave per annum, NHS Pension scheme, full staff uniform provided.
