An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 to join our team as a Ward Sister on Lowman Ward within the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital. Lowman is a medical ward that predominantly specialises in patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders; however, we also support with a number of gastro patients from the adjacent ward, and provide care & management to patients with established specialist eating disorders . The successful candidate will have a vital role in promoting and delivering good clinical leadership and will support and guide the team in delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based treatment and care. A positive attitude to multi-disciplinary working is vital, and you will work closely with the ward matron other members of the team. This is an ideal opportunity to progress & develop experience in the management and leadership of staff, learn new clinical skills with the relevant training and consolidate existing skills in a busy, varied and challenging area.
