A rare opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as a Scientific Administrator within the Fertility Exeter Embryology team, based at Heavitree Hospital. The role is specific to the co-ordination of the cryostorage facility for maintaining fertility samples on behalf of our patients, involving the assessment of consent and contractual arrangements in line with current HFEA regulation and maintaining contact with patients regarding continuation of storage. The successful applicant would be working closely with both the embryology and finance team and will require excellent administration and interpersonal skills.

It is essential to be able to manage and prioritise your own workload to meet set deadlines whilst remaining calm and professional at all times. You should have a flexible and adaptable approach and be able to communicate confidently and sensitively with patients. Excellent IT skills using Word & Excel are a necessity. Please note, this is an administrative, not a clinical role.

Our vision is to provide safe, high quality seamless services delivered with courtesy and respect. To achieve our vision we expect all our staff to uphold our Trust values.

Our Trust values are: Honesty, Openness & Integrity Fairness, Inclusion & Collaboration Respect & Dignity
