This is an exciting 22.5 hour/week part-time opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust as part of our outpatient rehabilitation service working on the Heavitree Hospital site.

The post holder will be a member of the Pain Management Rehabilitation team and will be responsible for the rehabilitation of patients with chronic pain conditions referred by the Pain Management team and GPs.

The caseload will be variable and patients will be treated in both 1:1 and group settings. The role will involve providing comprehensive assessment and appropriate interventions to aid the management of chronic pain conditions. There is also a requirement for effective communication skills in the management of complex situations. Close working with members of the Pain Management MDT is pivotal to the role.

Caseloads will be flexible and at times will involve the provision of service to other areas of the Trust. This will occur particularly when working weekends and bank holidays on the Orthopaedic inpatient rota.
