Applications are invited for a Post-CCT Clinical Fellow in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the West of England Eye Unit, RD&E for a period of 6-12 months.
This post would suit an enthusiastic individual wishing to enhance their skills in Vitreoretinal surgery and general ophthalmology. You will have extensive experience in Ophthalmology: you will be surgically independent in adult cataract surgery, and performed at least 600 cases.
You will have evidence of experience in vitreoretinal surgery as surgeon/assistant in at least 30 VR surgical procedures
Your experience should all be verifiable in a recognised training programme and all performed within the last 5 years.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
