At Castle Place Practice we are looking for a 2 x Receptionist / Administrators to work across our busy admin and reception teams. One role will be full time hours of 37.5 per week and the other will be part time hours of 23.75. The working pattern for these roles is still under review and will be discussed at interview.
The role involves providing administrative and reception support to GP's, Nurses, Practice manager, Operations Manager and all members of the Primary Health Care Team. It is an essential and rewarding role helping to provide a welcoming, friendly and professional service to general members of the public and all staff and visitors to the Practice.
Previous experience of working within a GP Practice or other health care provider would be desirable. You must be organised, self-motivated, forward thinking with excellent customer service skills. It is important that the candidate is empathetic towards patients using the Practice and can remain calm under pressure.
You must have the ability to multitask and deal assertively with patient queries whilst answering calls and responding to other service demands. Knowledge of medical terminology would also be an advantage in this role.
The candidate must be enthusiastic and computer literate, ideally with experience in using EMIS WEB or a similar clinical system. This role is a wide and varied one, and the successful candidate will provide a range of administration duties such as organising and allocating incoming documentation, electronic messages, clinical coding and using their own initiative in providing a comprehensive administration and clerical service.
You must be a person who likes working within a team but who also has the ability to take responsibility for their own work. If you think you are up to the challenge, then please apply now.
In return for your hard work and dedication we can offer you the opportunity to work within a very friendly and supportive team and be part of the wider Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust Organisation.
