We are looking for a highly motivated and conscientious supervisor to assist in the smooth running of the Patient Meals Service within the catering team at RD&E

The ideal candidate needs to be hard working, reliable, have a good eye for detail and be able to work well under pressure. You will have the ability to prioritize workload in an extremely busy environment, delegate work & take responsibility for ensuring all safe working practices are maintained.

You will need to be flexible and have good communication skills as well as being an excellent team player. A good understanding of Microsoft software packages would be an advantage. Previous experience of supervising a team is essential for this role as you will be responsible for overseeing a large multi-disciplined team to prepare and deliver meals to our patients across the site

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week over 5 days, will include working 2 out of 3 weekends, normal working between shifts between the hours of 7.45am- 3.45pm and 12.00-8.00pm

Salary: Band 3, £19,737 - £21,142 plus unsocial hours enhancements for weekends

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
