Tiverton Hospital has two Intermediate Care wards which use an integrated team approach of rehabilitation with the patient to achieve their goals. We have a vacancy for a Rehabilitation Support Worker to work with our teams on the ward in a substantive position.

The post holder will work with different medical conditions including stroke, falls, those with long term conditions, post operations, neurological conditions, and generally older frail people.

The post is open to people who have already completed training in a relevant field to Diploma level 3. We actively encourage professional development and have a regular in-house training and a supervision support system in place.

The role will include working shift patterns including weekends so that support can be provided throughout the day for activities of daily living.

The successful candidate will need to have good IT and communication skills, and have the ability to work independently as well as part of the team.
