The Tiverton and Cullompton Urgent Community Team (UCR) is expanding, and we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Band 5 Team Manager to join our dynamic and evolving team.
The post holder will be responsible for the supervision and professional development of the Support Workers and future recruitment drives.
The role will include supporting and motivating the workforce to focus on the needs and experience of patients, promoting a culture of continuous service improvements, and sharing this knowledge across the trust to improve efficiencies, increase the patient care experience.
The post holder will need to have excellent communication skills which may include communication with distressed and anxious patients, relatives or staff, maintaining a calm and composed approach, treating all with tact and empathy.
Excellent IT skills are required to coordinate the smooth running of the UCR service within our large integrated health and social care team, and monitor recorded patient contacts on the new digital patient notes system.
