Supporting cASPerCF Study
Following a recent major award, we are looking to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic, clinically astute and motivated Band 7 Senior Clinical Research Nurse who is excited by the opportunity to apply their nursing and clinical research expertise to investigate a treatment for Cystic Fibrosis (CF). The post holder will undertake and support a research study funded by Conect4Children (C4C). The C4C is a new consortium devoted to enhance, optimise and improve the delivery of paediatric drug trails. This funding is already awarded and not affected by BREXIT.
Whilst the post holder will be primarily based on the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Trust site, they will work closely with colleagues working in the field of CF research across 30 sited based in the UK and Europe.
The post holder will be a key member of the cASPerCF study team based in Exeter working alongside the Chief Investigator supporting team proving care to patients with CF whilst taking part in the study.The successful candidate will demonstrate a broad range of clinical and research experience and skills. They will demonstrate that they can interact with senior academics and advocate for the health and well-being of participants.
Prospective candidates are actively encouraged to have an informal discussion about the role. This will give a better insight into the work of the IMI C4c, Clinical Research Facility and the role that is being appointed to.
