An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen within the RD&E Emergency Department team to support the high profile Emergency Department Reconfiguration Project. The Emergency Department has recently commenced a large-scale, fast-paced reconfiguration project to expand the department and improve the clinical space available to deliver the highest quality patient care for the population of Exeter and the surrounding areas.
The ED Reconfiguration Project will be highly complex and challenging to deliver in the context of maintaining an operational Emergency Department, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. The successful candidate will therefore be crucial to the safe and timely delivery of the project.
The postholder will have extensive clinical and leadership experience within the Emergency Department setting. This 18 month secondment opportunity would therefore be ideal for an individual who wishes to gain immersive experience and develop their skills in project and operational management within the Emergency Department setting.
(This is a fixed term contract for 18 months. For current NHS Employees this post could be a secondment opportunity)
