Are you a highly motivated and enthusiastic registered nurse looking for a new challenge? How would you like to become part of our amazing surgical team? An exciting opportunity has arisen on STaAU/Abbey ward that might be what you are looking for.

The Surgical Triage and Assessment Unit is a fast paced environment that incorporates Emergency Surgical Ambulatory Care (ESAC). We are a 22 bedded short stay unit that covers all general surgery with some ENT.

Due to the nature of the unit it is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your assessment, prioritisation and clinical skills including Catheterisation,venepuncture,cannulation and Insertion of Ryles tubes,as well as expanding your clinical knowledge.
