An opportunity has arisen to join a unique team at the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Team for a 9 month maternity leave cover. The Private and Overseas Patient Team is a small dedicated team who are passionate about generating income for the Trust and providing advice and support to patients and staff. Whilst previous experience of private patients and overseas visitors would be valued, this is a relatively unique area of expertise so training will be provided to the right candidate. We can promise you variety and a change from the norm. Our work is often rewarding but can also be challenging and involves difficult communications with patients in complex situations. Flexibility is essential and the ability to switch from one task to another with several interruptions is a bonus. This is a fixed term contract for 9 months. For current NHS Employees this post could be a secondment opportunity

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
