The busy Medical Imaging department (Radiology) at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated Radiographic Assistants.
As a Radiology Assistant you will work within a multidisciplinary team maintaining a hands-on approach to deliver high standards of patient care while patient undergo diagnostic imaging tests.
You will become actively involved in a broad range of duties including administration and organising daily workflows. There is a structured in house training program covering all modalities within Radiology which you will be expected to undertake.
Hours of work: The Medical Imaging department provides a 7 day service over extended working days. The successful candidate(s) will be expected to participate in Bank Holiday, early starts, evening and weekend duties within a shift pattern rota.
Requirements: • Good standard of literacy and numeracy • Good verbal and written communication skills • IT skills • Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise • A flexible approach to working
