We are delighted to be seeking an experienced adult speech and language therapist to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to hone your specialist skills in acute stroke rehabilitation. Based primarily on the stroke rehab unit (Yealm ward) at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (Wonford), you will work in partnership with people with acquired communication and/or swallowing disorders to reduce the impact of these difficulties on well-being and enhance their ability to participate in daily life.
You will be a core member of the Yealm interdisciplinary team, and work flexibly with the acute stroke and wider neurology team. You will receive clinical support, supervision and Continuing Professional Development via the adult speech and language therapy service – which spans acute, community and learning disabilities.
