Applications are invited for the post of Medical Secretary in the Cardiology department within the Medical Division.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Secretarial team working for a number of consultants and their clinical teams providing a comprehensive, effective and efficient secretarial service to support the needs of this busy department.
The post holder will be able to work under pressure, use the relevant IT systems (training provided) and be able to work to deadlines to meet targets. They will be expected to work professionally to a very high standard.Attention to detail and use of initiative is essential along with experience of audio typing and knowledge of medical terminology. The ideal candidate must have a flexible ‘can do’ attitude, the ability to use their initiative with excellent communication/interpersonal and IT skills. The successful candidate will have strong administration and organisational skills, exemplary attention to detail, a passion for excellence and an ability to work well within a team.
