Clinical Embryologist

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and motivated clinical embryologist to join our assisted reproduction laboratory at Fertility Exeter. This is a substantive post with a requirement to contribute to weekend working.

You would be joining a team of embryologists and laboratory support staff helping to facilitate the continuation of laboratory services encompassing all aspects of sub-fertility within an established ART programme.

Applicants should possess a Life Sciences honours degree (2.i or higher), have completed recognised training in clinical embryology through achievement of the ACE Certificate or more recently the STP in Reproductive Science and have experience of working within an HFEA Licensed centre.

The post is open to a Band 6 Embryologist who fulfils the above and is either working towards or has achieved state registration with HCPC.

This post is unlikely to attract a work permit.

Qualifications: Minimum BSc in a biological science

HCPC registration as Clinical Scientist

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full-time)

Salary: Band 6 (subject to skills and experience)
