An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly nurse led team in the Exeter Kidney Unit and Day Case Unit. Recenlty rated "outstanding" by CQC, we are a15 station haemodialysis unit based on the Wonford site of the Royal Devon and Exter Hospital and a specialist renal day case unit. We provide regular life- sustaining treatment for over 100 patients and on the day emergency procedures and assessment in the day case unit.We aresupported by a large number of specialists including Consultants, Dieticians and specialist nurses in Transplantation, vascular access, end of life care and much more. We have a specialist Clinical Practice Educator to support you through a supernumerary training period acquiring the necessary skills.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual who will relish this diverse and in-depth role as an integral part of a service striving to deliver excellent care through regular audit and involvement in research, and promote patient independence through self and shared care. With a variety of specialist areas, an acute ward, day-case unit, and home therapies programme, there are many opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge. We also support staff with ongoing carerr development in roles such as the Associate Nurse and Nurse Practitioner.
