An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic part-time Senior Healthcare Assistant to work within the Kidney Unit at the South Devon Satellite Kidney Unit (SDSKU)

As part of the Renal Service of the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust (RD&E), SDSKU is a 24 bedded, nurse-led outpatient facility offering haemodialysis to patients with End Stage Kidney Disease. The unit is managed by a friendly, supportive team consisting of nursing staff, support staff & ward clerks as well as the wider multi-disciplinary team who are often in attendance for outpatient clinics. We are based on the outskirts of Torbay but maintain close links with the RD&E & Torbay Hospital.

Demonstrating an enthusiasm for haemodialysis, you will bring to the role excellent communication skills & flexibility. You will receive excellenttraining relevant to yourrole inhaemodialysis from our dedicated clinical practice facilitator and wider multi-disciplinary team, being supported in your new role.

We are always engaged in audit and research to ensure that we are delivering excellent, evidence-based care. You can apply to work at the South Devon Satellite Kidney unit with an opportunity to spend some time across our renal service learning to care for renal patients in a variety of settings.
