Are you looking for a challenging, rewarding role in a busy fast paced environment? We are looking for someone with initiative and a "can do" attitude to join our friendly multi-disciplinary team. You should have excellent communication skills and be used to dealing with people at all levels in a professional manner. This role also requires stong IT skills and accuracy since you will be updatinga wide range of IT systems inputting patient information. You will be expected to monitor the inbox, answer phones and ensuring all referrals and communications are dealt with in a timely manner. Additionally you will accept referrals for care and book visits on the rota for the clinicians.This team works closely with the acute hospital and clinical staff to help prevent hospital admission and asafe supported discharge.

You will require high levels of concentration due to the work involved needing to demonstrate strong organisational and prioritisation skills along with excellent problem solving skills. You should be a good team player, supportive, flexible and willing to offer help to your colleagues. You should be resiliant and able to cope with a busy officeand large workload where change isconstant. An administrative background would be of benefit since you will be expected to set up systems which assist the clinical team and produce process notes to ensure consistency.

This role works 37.5 hrs over a 7 day period including weekends and bank holidays. The staff rota will cover the period 7.30am to 6pm.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
