We currently have a vacancy for a full time Pharmacy Band 2 Assistant Technical Officer in the Dispensary. They will be required to have previous pharmacy experience from either a community or hospital background.
The successful candidate be involved in the dispensing process which will include producing labels using the computer system and dispensing medication for patients. The candidate will have experience of dealing with the public, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to prioritise and work to deadlines.
The successful candidate will also provide an efficient and friendly reception service to patients, staff and visitors.
The Pharmacy is a very busy department within the hospital but full support will be given and would give the right person the opportunity for further career development.
