Medicines Management Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated medicines management technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will provide a medicines management service across the acute trust including one stop dispensing, assessment of patient’s own drugs and medicines reconciliation and be part of the technician checking rota as appropriate.
Our team of medicines management technicians are hardworking, focused, ambitious and friendly. They have developed the service across the trust and are valued members of the clinical and ward teams.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of patients and healthcare professionals whilst developing your skills and experience in Pharmacy.
The Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust (RD&E) provides acute and community services across Exeter and East Devon serving a population of more than 450,000 people. The hospital is in the historical cathedral city of Exeter that has plenty of family amenities and beautiful surrounding countryside. Exeter has excellent transport links, being situated in the middle of the South West Region with easy access to the countryside and coast of Devon and Cornwall. It is 2 hours by train to London and our international airport serves flights to various European destinations, as well as daily flights to London and Manchester.
You must be a registered pharmacy technician, and ideally hold a nationally recognised Medicines Management/Medicines Optimisation and technician checking accreditation.
