Are you an experienced Community Nurse who would like to work in a leadership role offering day to day leadership and professional supervision to unregistered or registered nursing staff within Community Nursing teams in Exeter?

You would be working peripetetically across the teams on a daily,weekly or monthly basis dependant on the need in each team.

You may be working alongside the Specialist Nurses based in the teams or overseeing the designated patients who are assessed by other registered Band five or unregistered nurses in the Specialist nurse absence .

The Postholder will also be expected to provide professional input in audit completion to inform future practice.

The successful candidate would be expected to be educated to degree level or working towards a degree qualification, provide evidence of continual Professional development and have a teaching/assessing qualification or equivalent experience. Leadership qualifications would be desirable. If this has not been achieved then the successful candidate would be expected to complete Leadership qualifications or programmes as part of their development in this role as well.

The successful candidate must be a very experienced Community nurse with current clinical competencies relating to Community Nursing and be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of current issues relating Primary Care, Community Nursing, Social care and integration.

A valid UK driving licence is required for the this post.
