We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Medical Secretary/Team Leader to join the Surgery Team based at Wonford Hospital. The role will involve supporting the junior doctors on our busy fast paced Acute and Specialist Surgery wards. You will coordinate and support the day to day running of the Clinical Medical Secretarial Teams and The surgical ward clerk team, planning and managing their weekly rota.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience in dealing with patients and leading a Team of people. You will need to have the ability to use your own initiative, prioritising your workload to meet the changing needs of the departments.

You will be flexible, excellent at problem solving and adaptable with excellent IT skills. It is essential that you have experience in audio typing as this will also play an important part of your role.

As Team Leader you will represent your Team in Departmental meetings, and will be able to work collaboratively with others to meet objectives.
