Are you looking for the next step in your career or a move to the south west?

We are looking for an energetic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Community Hospital Intermediate Care Team on our Community Hospital ward in Exmouth. This is a great opportunity to support a service development project, focussed on enhancing care and rehabilitation through an enabling focus across the MDT.

You willbe replicating individual's normal routines and organising group and individual activity to promote functional independence and well being, including breakfast clubs, seated exercise groups and creative activity groups alongside standard functionalassessments.

Part of your role will also be to carry a small community rehabilitation caseload.

You will have had a broad range of clinical experience in either acute or community, have key leadership, communication andsupervisory skills and be confident and motivated to support change. You will have experience of goal setting and utlising outcome measures to demonstrate the effectiveness of your interventions and above all be a great team player

You will be supported and supervised by a Band 7 Clinical Lead and encouraged to develop your skills through training and PDR objectives.
