Are you looking for an interesting, fast paced, rewarding secretarial role?

We are offering a12 month fixed term contract for the right candidate.

The MacLeod Diabetes and Endocrine Centre at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital is an extremely busy and developing service.

We are looking for someone who can remain calm under pressure and is able to prioritise their own workload, who enjoys being part of a team and is naturally empathetic. You will be supported in your role by a Team Leader and full training on our hospital systems will be given.

We would hope that you are an efficient and friendly team player with good communication and interpersonal skills. The role includes audio typing and the team is expected to work to tight deadlines to ensure the best possible care for patients and families. The role will also involve providing information and assistance by telephone to patients, carers and relatives and therefore previous customer service experience would be an advantage.
