The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Administrative Apprentice. This is an exciting training role and will be based at Wonford Hospital site in Exeter.
This is an ideal opportunity to learn within the work place; you will supported by a tutor to gain a Business and Administration Level 2 qualification.

The successful applicant will provide clerical support to the Information Governance service and will work alongside the established Information Governance Team. You will demonstrate that you can uphold the values and behaviours of the Trust; have good verbal and written communication skills, basic knowledge of computerised systems including Microsoft Word and Excel,basic keyboard skills and the ability to plan and organise your own workload. You will be required to develop working relationships with colleagues across the department and throughout the wider Trust.

Hours: - 37.5 hours per week.

Salary:- £131.25 per week.

Fixed Term – 12 months

Main Duties
To provide administrative support i.e. filing, photocopying and typing
To maintain efficient and effective filing systems
To use electronic diaries and email
To input, retrieve and collate information using various applications
within the Trust’s computer systems
To act in a professional, friendly manner while actively maintaining the security of the area
The successful applicant will have excellent caring, team working, interpersonal and computer skills.
