This unique and individual role is to provide secretarial assistance to four Specialist Nurses who co-ordinate the support and care of patients with head, neck and thyroid cancers and long term tracheostomies. Interested candidates should be able to demonstrate that they are proactive, able to multi task and priorise their own workload. Due to the sensitive nature of the service we are looking for a highly organised person who works well under pressure and protrays an empathetic and professional approach. On occasion you will be required to support other areas to cover absences. In addition to the duties outlined in the job description, you will be responsible for the booking of patient appointments and ordering of information leaflets and materials from selected organisations.
