PREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Health Physiotherapist MSK  who is motivated, approachable and pro-active to join our progressive Occupational Health and Wellbeing team in Exeter.   You should have experience treating patients in an outpatient setting and be able to demonstrate clinical excellence and good communication. You will be required to work independently as well as within the wider OH team when necessary to deliver excellent care in the workplace.   You should be confident in providing direct clinical treatment for early symptom relief and exercise-based rehabilitation to achieve functional, patient-centred goals as well as open to using a cognitive behavioural approach to patient treatment.   Opportunities for prevention work through developing proactive workplace assessment, training and education, working alongside and supporting the OH physiotherapist lead/Health and wellbeing practitioner/OH advisors and nurses as well as other relevant stake holders/OH team. There is also opportunity to coordinate with other Physiotherapy teams withint he region for CPD’ and IST training available with the physiotherapy OPD department in place       Essential Requirements will include:   *IT literate *MSK post graduate training and professional registration (HCPC and CSP) *Able to work without supervision *Occupational Health Physiotherapy experience *Health Education/Promotion advice *Basic Work place ergonomics *Able to provide fitness for work advice (verbal and written reports to management) *Clear and effective communication skills *Excellent interpersonal skills *Efficient and well organised *Evidence of continuing professional development If you would like any further information or to arrange an informal visit please contact Karin Gibberd Lead OH Physiotherapist Our vision is to provide safe, high quality seamless services delivered with courtesy and respect.
