Exeter Occupational Health Service is seeking a motivated registered nurse with Mental Health background to support the multi-disciplinary Occupational Health team deliver an enhanced service to the Trust employees. This is a new role and aimed at providing additional mental health support and advice to employees and managers. Please note, this is not a treatment role, but a great opportunity to apply mental health skills and additonal training may be available for Ocucpational Health. We deliver occupational health services to both NHS and non NHS contracts and the post holder will be responsible for a delivering a professional high quality service including face to face and telephone advice to employees and managers. You will need to be experienced in mental health and current challenges facing NHS employees. You will also need to be peripatetic and a good communicator with the ability to manage your own time. It is essential that you are able to work as part of the team and independently within the scope of practice. Whilst the hours are predominantly 08.30 to 4.30 there may be a requirement to undertake external clinics outside of these hours on occasion. We would welcome applicants who have Occupational Health experience and a keen interest to develop their excellent skills in this area. Towever,his is a new post and therefore offered initially on a fixed term basis. There may be scope for further development for the right candidate You will be working within a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Health Physicians, Nurse Advisors, Physiotherapists and a Staff Support team and a Health and Wellbeing Practitioner.   Our vision is to provide safe, high quality seamless services delivered with courtesy and respect.
