An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates Department for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced individual, who is able to demonstrate strong leadership skills in order to work with service providers to manage and deliver the Trusts capital programme. The Head of Capital Projects will be responsible for all aspects of capital projects from inception to completion.

This involves the effective management and delivery of concurrent multi-stranded projects to ensure projects are delivered on time, to the required quality and within budget. Working as part of a committed and capable team you will be the lead specialist responsible for capital projects including feasibility studies, design and cost information for capital bids and for the provision of professional advice in connection with capital schemes.

You will have proven experience in a senior estates management capacity, be knowledgeable in construction contract management and have had lead responsibility for the development and delivery of new build and refurbishment schemes in a large complex setting. We are looking for a highly skilled professional from an architectural, surveying, construction or engineering background. You will be highly motivated, innovative and a committed individual with excellent communication skills and a proven track record. This is a new position and is an exciting time to be working at the Trust as there are strategically important and varied projects to be delivered. Hours:37.5   Salary:Band 8b
