VOCATIONAL EDUCATION FACILITATOR Nursing, Quality & Professional Development Deputy Chief Nurse/ Midwife Royal Devon & Exeter NHS FT Due to internal promotion we currently have a vacancy for a Vocational Education facilitator. This is a great opportunity for someone with clinical and work based assessment experience who is keen to develop further teaching and development skills. Professional & Development is looking to employ a Band 5 Facilitator (1.0 fte - ie 37.5 hrs/week) within the Vocational Education Team (QCF Clinical Healthcare Support), based in the RILD building, Barrack Road, Exeter to provide delivery of level 2, 3 and 5 apprenticeships and assessment of Band 2, 3 and 4 health care support workers. Applications are invited from individuals with recent experience of the NVQ / QCF assessment process in a clinical healthcare setting.The role will involve supporting, assessing and training candidates and their assessors both in the classroom and workplace, in non-registered clinical healthcare roles through to certification.There will be a significant element of quality assurance within this role through Internal verification.Applicants must hold the TAQA Assessors Award (or Vocational Assessor A1 award or D32/33).The TAQA Quality Assurance award (or V1 or D34) is desirable or applicants must be willing to gain this qualification.
