Are you ready for an exciting new challenge? Site Management has a vacancy for a dynamic, registered nurse to join the team on a fifteen month secondment.

This high profile role leads the daily management of patient flow throughout the hospital, supported by the Lead Nurse/Head of Patient Flow, and Senior Nurses along with Clinical teams. At night, the Site Practitioner facilitates Hospital at Night, and their clinical expertise, along with problem solving skills, are fully utilised.

The successful applicant will be expected to provide the organisation with strong operational leadership and critical thinking skills. They should also have excellent communication skills and understand and support the Trust’s operational and clinical objectives.

The post holder will have day to day responsibility for managing patient capacity and demand across the Trust. The role is pivotal to ensuring the Trust is able to meet the 18 week referral to treatment target and the 4 hour ED target, which facilitates delivery of the highest quality patient focused service.

The post holder will work within the Operations Division as part of the Site Management Team which is managed by the Lead Nurse/Head of Patient Flow. Hours: 37.5 per week Salary: Band 7 - £31,696 - £41,787 per annum
