We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Secretarial team in the Obstetric and Gynecology Department on a fixed term contract for a period of two years. This post involves working for a number of consultants and their clinical team providing a comprehensive, effective and efficient secretarial service. The post holder will be able to work under pressure, use the relevant IT systems (training provided) and be able to work to deadlines to meet targets. They will be expected to work professionally to a very high standard. Attention to detail and use of initiative is essential along with experience of audio typing and knowledge of medical terminology. The ideal candidate must have a flexible ‘can do’ attitude with effective communication/interpersonal skills, a passion for excellence and an ability to work well within a team. This is an interesting and challenging role and the post holder will need to have excellent proven secretarial skills with leadership ability to ensure that high quality services are being delivered within a busy department.
