ROYAL DEVON & EXETER NHS FOUNDATION TRUST CONSULTANT VASCULAR SURGEON Closing date: 9th May 2018 however we withold the right to close this advert early The Department of Vascular Surgery at the Royal Devon and Exeter (RDE) NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to appoint a Locum consultant Vascular surgeon to cover a 9 month period of maternity leave. Experience in renal access surgery is desirable. The post will provide a 1:6 on call ‘hot week’ rota for the network Emergency Vascular service for Exeter and Torbay. Weekly commitments will consist typically of a combination of MDT, an all-day Exeter theatre list, 1-2 out-patient clinics and a full day a week at Torbay Hospital. Some weeks will also incorporate day case community hospital operating lists and clinics. The successful applicant will initially be placed into the timetable of the consultant on maternity leave, although this is subject to some variability. This post is available from May 2018 for 9 months.
