Are you a highly motivated and dynamic Physiotherapist looking for a part time post? Honiton and Ottery St Mary Community Rehabilitation Team has an opportunity to employ a Band 6 Physiotherapist for 20 hours per week. The post will involve managing a clinical caseload seeing patients in their own homes. This will include a variety of clinical presentations and therefore applicants should have post graduate experience of working with patients with complex long term, neurological and orthopedic conditions, as well as have confidence in manual and therapeutic handling techniques and use of equipment. The post holder will be actively involved in the urgent care rota for ‘admission avoidance’ into the acute hospital or supported discharge. They will also run the strength and balance class and therefore a specific interest in falls would be beneficial. The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision and clinical support for junior members of staff, and to look at new and innovative ways to improve the delivery of care that we provide for our client group, and support staff through the changes required. As a service we are committed to continued professional development, encouraging a learning culture by providing regular in-service training, CPD sessions and on-going education.
